New map for Half Marathon – uusi reitti Puolimaratonille
Ensin juostaan iso lenkki kolmeen kertaan, tämän jälkeen jatketaan matkaa vielä 900 metriä, jonka jälkeen tehdään U- käännös (kartassa olevien numeroiden 20 ja 1 välissä). Tämän jälkeen juostaan suoraan maaliin, joka sijaitsee Areenan sisällä.
Along the course there will be two assigned spots for special drinks (near numbers 7 and 16).
LOC will provide water stations near numbers 13 and 3.
Reitin aikana on kaksi merkittyä paikkaa omille juomille (lähellä numeroita 7 ja 16). Järjestäjien tarjoamat vesipisteet ovat lähettä numeroita 13 ja 3.

The Place for Cross Country Race changes
Due to ecological reasons, the place for Cross Country will change from orban national park Pyynikki Ridge to Tampere Exhibition and Sport Centre (TESC).The running surface is contist of grass, gravel and small paved section surrounding a small forest and pond.

Deadline extension until end of 2nd of May
At the end of registration, more than 4330 athletes from 87 countries have submitted their entries for the World Championships in Tampere. LOC and WMA are looking forward to host the athletes.
Against the background of the war in Ukraine combined with the effects of the pandemic, some countries were able to plan participation only very late. To give them the opportunity to register correctly WMA Council and LOC Tampere have agreed to an extension of 5 days for all.
The deadline in the registration system will stay open until the end of the day on 2nd May everywhere in the world.
However, after that the registration system must be closed to ensure proper preparation of the championship for all.

Pole vault poles for rent
The organisers rent poles (see attached annex). The pole rent is 100 Euros. For this price, the athlete may use as many poles as they need.
